 | Sigulda Reviews | Tips 1 - 5 of 5 | | Recently built old style hotel with nice spacy rooms and good service. Located just out of the town center (walking distance from the station) near the national park forest.
Interesting wooden log structure. Cosy restaurant with a fireplace. Sauna available. Leave a Comment

The Aparjods hotel sits on the edge of town, and on the way out of Sigulda. If you are already in town, from the post office, drive left over the train tracks and keep going, bearing right with the road and you will see it on your right, just past the netto supermarket. We had a terrible time finding it initially, due to the directions we received from our friendly hotelier. We couldn’t figure out what ‘Straight, straight, straight as far as the big giraffe’ was. After much deliberation, we asked a local and were able to find out, in Russian, how to get there. (Now if she had only said ‘Netto’ !) The hotel is charming. A warm, cherry wood-lined reception, comfortable sofas, water fountains and nice grassy grounds are some of it’s initial pleasing features. The twin and double rooms are more than adequate and the suites are a step up from that again. Large with a good bathroom (bar the shower) and a small dining table, it definitely makes for a nice evening. The shower is an aspect of the room of which you would have to try to decide whether it adds to the charm of the place or not. If you are under 5 ‘ 1’’ however, or enjoy doing the limbo, you should have no problems. They have two suites in the hotel at the same price, so remember to REQUEST the Jacuzzi room! The rooms were very good value, and they have a great room service menu to boot, but you really need to try their wonderful on premise restaurant. Prices range from 30 lats to 50 lats, depending on the number of guests and room facilities - and they have a variety of rooms available. Breakfast is served in the restaurant in the next building. A simple affair, but it’s a small hotel and we couldn’t find fault with it all. A lovely stay! This is one of the best places', where you can spend night, while you are in Sigulda. In cozy hotel/guesthouse, which don't have many rooms, every room has made in its own special style and it has nice interior. In some rooms there is jacuzzi. There is also bath and bar in the hotel. A historic - although heavily restored and extended - hotel right in the centre of town.
Large parking in front, pool (which however costs extra) Leave a Comment Theme: HotelPrice: US$40-80 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Centre of town, pils ielaDirections: At railway station turn left towards city centre and river Gauja
