    Agadir has a very good beach. A wide and long strip of thin sand, a regular and low surf, no hidden rocks, the only drawback was the persistent fog. Is it common, or just our bad luck? Anyway, we didn't complain, because staying in the beach was safer than under the burning sun. Sun tanning was slow, but swimming or playing sports, it was great!

    Agadir is the biggest tourist beach resort in Morocco with a long and wide beach for everybody.

    There's no beach palm trees anywhere to be seen so that means no shelter from the sun.

    I don´d know why i even went here mayby because our travelguid said this is the place you must see when your in Agadir. It is the biggest harbour in the country. Every morning from 07.30-10.00 there is a fishmarket and a lot of local people come to buy fresh fish.

    A fun place for a tourist? Yeah right.

    I wasn't to impressed with the Valley of The Birds Parkland but if you got a couple of kids then this will be ok. If the keeper is about he may let you help feed the animals.

    Entry to the Valley Of The Birds is about 10 dirham.

    Open from 09.30 - 12.30am & 14.30 - 18.00pm

    In a modern town, betting in tourism you need diversity to occupy the visitors. Agadir is not very reach in that area but, if you travel with kids, a small and poor zoo is always a different solution for an afternoon less attractive to swim.

  • Souqs are always great, even if youýre in such a touristtrap as Agadir is.This was my first souq and I couldnýt believe the size of it.
    Everybody kept telling us that they are for the mountains and here only for today... how lucky for us... I think I sucked in barganing. Either my startingprice was so low that the seller got pissed off with me, or then I just didnýt have the patience go through the whole procedure..
    But I liked the souq. The mess and muddle. All those colours and smells. Never-ending little boots and those people behind them...
