	not many taxies in Kano or Abuja

When in you are in Kano or Abuja you may be surprised if your walking about town to find that there are very few taxis at some times. If you waive your had random people will pull over in their cars or motorbikes and offer to give you a ride for a price. I did this a few time, Im still alive but Im not sure how safe it was. You can easily find a taxi fi your in a 5 star hotel but beware once you are on the road the police will stop you and ask for ask for bribe, you better pay them. You may get stopped more than once on any trip, you always read stories of people not paying and getting hurt.
