Delhi has roughly 2 main areas: The Old core of the city, called Old Delhi, in the north, is the dedalus of narrow streets around the Red Fort and the Jami Masjid mosque. The new part of the city is crossed by huge ordered avenues and big monuments and government buildings. This area around Connaught Place and the Gate of India is called New Delhi. Leave a Comment |
