 | Delhi Humayun Tomb Reviews | 1 - 10 of 47 | | 250 rps to get in. Erected in 1565 by the Moghol emperor Humayun's widow. Nice gardens all around. After the entrance on the right another mausoleum with fine sculptures. Close your eyes and imagine the place as it might have been during the persian reign.. Leave a Comment

After seeing the beautiful Isa Khan group, we thought that was all ... but ... we saw another kind of entrance or building and we decided to go to see what was it. We where very happy of what we had seen till then and we reallly thought it was the end of the visit ... And there it was after that entrance it was the really Humayun Tomb, as I had imagen Taj Mahal, ... but in colours ... I have notice that some monuments are hide after this kind of entrance. You don't see what is after because is well calculated, and when you reach to it ... the suprise is incredible Leave a Comment Address: Mathura Rd.Directions: Nizamuddin

At the centre of the garden of entrance you will find at the right, an octagonal building with five tombs inside but there is no inscription to know of whom they are. Beautifull arches and lattice windows. There are stairs inside to get up to somewhere ... but they where full of bats and we decided not to get up :)) Leave a Comment Address: Mathura Rd.Directions: Near Nizamuddin Station

Yes, there it was ... after an entrance that hide that incredible garden and building, a great monument that is was as I thought Taj Mahal was, but ... the beauty of it I thought it could not be less than that of the famouse Taj. When we saw this we understood that this was the principal monument and the others where beautiful annexed Leave a Comment Address: Mathura Rd

When you visit this complex, don't forget to explore the areas to the left and right of the main walkway leading toward the central Humayun Tomb complex. The buildings in these quadrants, dedicated to lesser nobles and officers, are fascinating as well. This photo is the Isa Khan tomb and mosque. Leave a Comment
