It is located up from Dago. Walk and breathe the clean air in the reserve. There are also a couple of man-made caves under the cliff rock. They used to be a hideaway of the Japanese and the Dutch soldiers during their occupation in Indonesia a long time ago. Leave a Comment

If you plan to travel to Bandung by car, you should go from (lets say Jakarta) really early in the morning, and go Bandung via Puncak. By breakfast time, find this one place which has a cow statue in front. Can't remember where exactly. I'll update this page again very soon. They have nice yoghurt drinks, some 'roti bakar' or toasted bread filled with jam, chocolate, cheese, etc. They also have Fried rice, chicken porridge. Yum,.... very cheap. You can get good breakfast for less than $1 - 1.5 per person. Leave a Comment

On our way to Sangria Resort Hotel, we passed small town called Sumedang. Located on mountain road , it is in the mountains east of Bandung. Sumedang was once a small Dutch kingdom. Today it's famous for its oranges. On day we traveled on this road, it was very busy with local people and vendors. Leave a Comment

The Peak Resort Restaurant. The Peak is a contemporary nightspot and restaurant that offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, green fields, and the city of Bandung. It is located at the 1210m. high summit of a steeply rising, symmetrical hill in Karyawangi Village, Ciwaruga. On our way back from Sangria Resort, we had our driver take us here for afternoon snacks and drinks. We were very lucky as not busy. IM told during night and weekends very crowded and reservations are required. http://www.thepeakresortdining.com/ Leave a Comment
