Bandung is famous for food and factory outlets. Bandung without going to factory oultlet is like Paris without going to Eiffel. Hehe!
Rumah Mode is the biggest factory outlet in town and has various type of branded clothes. It gets very crowded on weekends, esp now it takes only 2 hrs from Jakarta via the newest toll road.

Branded clothes for women, men & children.

You'll find Esprit blouse for Rp 70,000, Nike swimsuit for Rp 50,000, Abercombie jogging pant for Rp 60,000 and more.

a small shop in dago area sells mostly bags for young people (or those who want to stay young).

their designs are simple and affordable. you also can order if you have your own design.
if you come during school vacation, new year, etc, sometimes they give you discount.

Renaritti Outlet - Bandung

Huge variety of sizes, colors, models, brands. Clothes for men, women, children and babies. Accesories, shoes, things for hair, underwear, pijamas .................
Very nice clothes and very cheap. The best way to take a good route and including as many places as be able is by car. A rented car cost Rp. 70.000 is worth it much better than take taxis.
Dago, Martadinata and Setiabuhdi were te best, we didn't try Buhabatu Street but we tried Cihampelas Street and there's nothing, believe me, nothing!!!.
One of the best outlets were in Dago Street called Up Town Factory diagonal from Kartika Sari where sell the best brownies than I've ever tried, ever!!!.
Other good outlets were: Renaritti in Martadinata and Natural in Setiabuhdi.

	China Emporium: Bandung, City of Factory Outlets

Bandung is the heaven of Factory Outlets. There are hundreds of them in the city. Some are next to each other, three to four shops. They sell mostly women's and men's clothes.

This particular one is unique. Other FOs don't have any theme to its shop. Its just one building filled with clothes, local or imported goods/

China emporium sells things that has something to do with china, from furniture, clothes, small souvenirs and old chinese posters. It 's always busy especially on weekends and most busy on Sunday around lunch time.

Most of the visitors are from Jakarta. But people from other parts of Java treat this FO as a tourist object in Bandung. Sometimes you can see big tourist busses outside the building. And if you see this, don't bother getting in to the shop. Too crowded....

	Many shopping outlets along the street...: Shop Along Dago Street

Jalan Juanda a.k.a. Dago has many women's/men's/children's clothing outlets along the street. You can either start from Lower Dago (Holiday Inn hotel) or Upper Dago (the other end of the street - an intersection). It's nice to walk when the weather is nice - not hot, that is.

They are mostly clothes (Rich&Famous, Uptown, etc.), also footwear (Edward Forrer) and other accessories.

From Rp 20,000 and up for a piece of clothes. Current exchange rate: US$1 = +/- Rp 9,800.

	Ny Liem: Layered Cakes

If you are looking to take home some food, I recommend good layered cake. The traditional layered cake has mild spices and it is very very moist and delicious to eat. It keeps for a week or so,. I especially like it from this shop
