I saw this shop and just had to take a photo of it. It was just the nicest shop front. This shop is across the road from the Mercure Hotel. This shop is usually open - I snapped this photo on Geelong Cup Day and most shops were closed for the day.

Sanity is one of the better music stores in Geelong. They have a huge range of CDs and DVDs. If they don't have it in instore then they offer to order it in for you. There are often many great sales (like 2 CDs for $44 or 3 DVDs for $50). They have excellent customer service and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Sanity also has a free magazine out every 3 months. It has all the latest on the CDs and DVDs coming out. Sanity also has a digital kiosk. It's where you can create and compile your own CD from over 500,000 songs - it is also legal downloading (so the artists still get paid, and the quality is the same as on a normal CD - the only thing is that you don't get the cover art). Please remember if you are from overseas, a lot of DVDs will only work for a certain 'region' of the world. Australia is Region 4, and unless it says on the DVD that it is '0' (All regions) or you have an 'all regions' DVD player, then the DVD will only work in Region 4 (which includes: Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, South America, Central America, Pacific Island and the Caribbean). While Sanity's competitor JB Hi-Fi may have cheaper prices sometimes (although, unlike their slogan - they are *not* always cheaper), they have a huge lack in their customer service skills. If you want help while shopping and people who will give you an honest opinion, go to Sanity.
Hmmm... Try some Australian artists: 'Wolfmother' - Wolfmother 'Young Modern' - Silverchair 'Standing On The Outside' - Songs Of Cold Chisel (various artists covering their songs) 'Black Fingernails, Red Wine'- Eskimo Joe 'The Hard Road' - Hilltop Hoods 'Here Come The Drums' - Rogue Traders (Or see my homepage for some of my favourites!)
On average: $6 for a CD single $25 for an album $30 for a DVD Although, like I said, they usually have a sale going and can have some great bargains. Pottage is a good place to get souvenirs from. They have your usual plush koalas/kangaroos/wombats, aboriginal painted crafts. But they also have an extensive range of handmade jewelry, like chokers, necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.
Anything made locally!!

Well the shop is as it suggests. It is full of chocolates and lollies and all at cheap prices. Some brands you may know, others you may not (depending what country you're from). There's: Mars Bars, Snickers, Maltesers, Tim Tams, Cherry Ripes, Strawberry Ripes, Willy Wonka bars and many other assorted goodies that can make a nice present for family and friends (as long as they don't melt on the way home!).
I like the cherry ripes - but that's just me!
As little or as much as you want! Leave a Comment Theme: Food and DrinkAddress: Moorabool St., GeelongDirections: It's in central Geelong, the main street with bus stops - the outside of the shop is purple and yellow.

This would have to be one of the best cities for shopping. The city center is full of great stores, and lots of variety.... you park your car, and walk to most of the stores... Market Square is in the center of it all, and contains most of the larger stores, like Myers, Target, etc.. Leave a Comment Theme: Other
