There are several parking spaces at the main street and some little parking next to it, however those mostly cost a bit. In some side streets, you'll find parking spaces that are free, and Rochefort is little enough that you don't have to walk long if you park there.
The photo shows the view from our hotel room and in the front, you'll see a parking where you have to pay. On the left and right, only few steps away, you see the "free parking zone" (there's a sign that informs you about it). So look where you park, parking zones are everywhere close together!
