You can get there only by ferry. Apart from the national carrier Jadrolinija (jadrolinija.hr) there is also a private company "Mediteranska Plovidba" which serves 3 times a day a line from Drvenik (mainland) to Domince (near Korcula city) and this route is the cheapest and short. HOW TO GET TO THE ISLAND OF KORCULA Driving on your own By CAR, MOTORBIKE or BICYCLE - Documents When arriving in Croatia by car it is requested that you carry a valid driver's license, car registration card and your Green Card (proof of car insurance) - Speed and alcohol limits Speed limit in settlements is 50 km/h and 80 km/h in out of settlements (unless stated differently). On highways a speed limit is 130 km/h.
