In most clubs and popular places, you will have to pay to use the toilet (sometimes up to 2.00 EUR )
What can I say, take a leak before you leave the house. Also, exchange you money in the exchange office, not on the street. Don't buy drugs from locals at clubs. When visiting Brioni, take the bus to Fazana and the ferry to Brioni. Don't take the boat from Prorec or further up as you will pay 3X as much and won't see anything special. Leave a Comment

Down by the harbour, there are several touts for trips around the Brijuni islands...we didn't have time for such a trip, so all the offers got a bit much after a while! Leave a Comment

The Fortress or Kastel. Without wanting too upset anyone, not all that interesting or infomative. Only real plus are the great views over the city and harbour. Also a very steep climb up from the harbour- Mrs Bonio less than impressed! Leave a Comment

I havent found any real tourist trap. We only had a bit negative feeling while visiting 'Historical museum of Pula'. Things inside did not interested us too much :-(( But it has a good lookout tower. Leave a Comment

Like in any other touristic places on earth there are reastaurants and "restaurants". If you do not care how much you will spend for lunch, I suggest you "Milan", Borghesia" "Fra-Kat", or "Valsabbion". If the price metter to you, take your own risk.
Let me teach you how to recognize the fresh fish:
- open the eye of the fish (when the waiter showing you the offer of the day), if it looks gloomy the fish is not fresh
- the other test is; remove the gill, it must be of light pink colour, if not the fish was freezed up. Leave a Comment
