Klub Lavka is a popular club near Karlovy Lazne and the Charles Bridge. It has 2 different levels for the club and an outdoor terrace facing the bridge. The upstairs is more of a place to sit and relax and the downstairs is for dancing. There is a cover charge and no real dress code. The crowd was mixed with people from teenagers to 40's.

For soem resaon we ended up at this club both evenings we were in Prague.....we did go to others over the course of the night but certainly enjoyed Lavka.
Situated on the River, this 3 or 4 story building houses an interesting bar. Each level themed with different music, vibe and bars....chill out areas, full on techno dance, rock and 80's comlete some of the party areas. Stays open into the morning (6am) and the best time bight be to go after midnight.
Beers $1, mixed drinks $3-$4. Cover charge $5, Coat check available $1.
Caution: Weird thing. The one evening we went around 9pm or so, and there were groups of really young guys and girls (maybe 16/17).....they avoided the 80's area and were gone from the club by midnight....at which time the crowd get significantly older. Is there a drinking age in Prague???hahaha.
We messed this one up. Here is the quick synopsis.
Friday night: casual...jeans, tshirt, whatever.

Selection of bars, offering different themes and Discoteque. Friendly atmosphere and very easy to meet people. I went to Prague alone and made quite a few friends here. Attended by Czech people and tourists.

Close to the Charles Bridge and at the river bank of the Vtlava, you'll find the popular spot Klub Lavka. Here you can have dinner in the restaurant or have a drink in the bar at night. The club looks modern and is not cheap, but it's a nice place to enjoy the wonderful view at the Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge at night and to have fun.
If you are in the club, ask one of the waiters to show you the waterlevel of the flood in 1999. Inside they have a line marking the incredible high waterlevel of this disaster. They also show pictures of what the building looked like during the flood. Very impressive to see! Lavka (next to Charles Bridge) and the best location picture I've seen for a while.
This is your ultimate 'united nations' disco. Open 7 days a week but, I would recommend only Thurs,Fri and Sat. Tables and chairs upstairs. Dancefloor downstairs. Big garden in the summer. Top 40 music and personal preference. Not many locals. Coffee bar opens at 6am. You'll get a very different view of Charles Bridge (deserted and ghostly in the mist from the Vltava). Very pleasant outdoor area at the back alongside the river.

Very good music...it is kind of disco club!
Also having great garden outside..by the river 'Vltava' so it is even beautiful to stay there by day. So it is not just night club!Very relaxing indeed!

Club Lavka has got it all : cocktails, 80s music, internet access, strippers, 'exotic dancers', a terrace overlooking the river and Charles Bridge and flashy lights.
What more do you want....Staff understand English, which is great. You also get frisked with this big huge metal/drug detector thingy at the door. Entry is a measly 100 Cz Kroner
I urge you : GO TO CLUB LAVKA !!!!

It consists of different areas. If you want to relax, you just go sitting on a couch and if you want to dance you just go to the dancefloor.

It's definitely the biggest club in Prague and also in central Europe. Here you can meet many people from different countries and local Czech teens during the weekends. It's a huge place and there's much to do besides dancing. There's restaurants, cafés, fitness centre, internetcafé, theatre and more. Don't be scared off by the security checks!
Anything you'd normally wear for clubbing. Not a formal place. Leave a Comment
