In november 2002, when I travelled to Prague, there were some Romanian groups in the city and doing very nice concerts.
One of those was hold in Roxy Club and was really great dance and fun. Full of people dancing and dancing.
Before that spot, I never listened Romanian music and since then, is one of my favourites.... but maybe is attached the remember of the great concert to it, which was all an experience.

Decent Dj's, no goons and not often many stag parties. Really varied line up and cheap cocktails in the back bar.
Converted theatre similar to the Opera house in Bournemouth but much cheaper drinks.

If you've seen the movie Blade, it's just like the opening rave scene. It was nuts. Complete with topless girls doing their thing everywhere and Absynthe available post haste!

Visit the night club Roxy, experimental parties and performances, DJs, cult movies.... Not beautiful surroundings, but you can do anything you want (lie on the floor, dance on the stage, smoke ganja) and nobody cares.

The Roxy is the quinticential European club. It's in a unique space (a gutted theater), plays insanely loud house music, and filled with good dancers. I hate house music and still danced my ass off, which was a problem because I've had no ass since. Beautiful people, ice in the drinks, and a concrete floor with lots of holes in it.

This club used to be a theater and has become a Pragua insitution. It's usually on the cutting edge of music.
Very cool and definitely one of my favs!

I'm not sure if it's still open, but if you're a fan of electronic/house music, you have to go to the Roxy!
It is an old movie theatre, turned club with the DJ platform where the movie screen used to be and a balcony overlooking the dance floor
