  • Sigulda boasts several skiing tracks. They are lit during nights and are open late during weekends, that is until midnight or even 1am.
    Kakiskaln is the steepest track in Latvia.

    Skiing equipment (skis, boots and poles) can be rent directly at the skiing stations. English is spoken, so no problem ...

  • Directions: Kakiskaln is 3km from town centre, past the bobsled track on the right hand side. Rainas Trase is on the other side of the river Gauja. Take left in Turaida direction Krimulda, then after a couple of km on right hand side.
