Brakke Berg

After a walk along the Geul this is the perfect spot to have lunch or just a drink at their sunny terrace. We once stopped there when Gonnie came back from walking to Meerssen and Tom was cycling in the neighbourhood coming down from the village Berg. A good place to meet and have lunch together. The sandwich was good but the beer was a little bit expensive.

Another chinese restaurant is more specialized in buffets, availlable every weekend or on request for groups.
But you can also choose to order from the menu. The dishes we tried are good.

Buffet is not expensive and you can try everything.

Tom and half of his pizza

A good italian restaurant just outside of the busy centre of Valkenburg. It is located in a pedestration street.

The food was good and plenty. We both had a tomato soup, which was absolutely delicious. Tom then ordered a fish pizza and Gonnie had pasta with salmon. Both are to be recommended. For more ideas on the menu check the website of the restaurant.

there's place enough

Whether you sit down on the terrace of a little snackcorner or go inside and sit at a table in an exclusive restaurant ... everywhere one will serve you friendly and the food will be prepared with proper attention. Little sidedishes and a complete menu are a part of the Limburgian (read: Bourgondian) lifestyle that one knows so well "down" here. The only "but" is that - because of tourism - the prices are a little bit higher then the average level.

Dinner at Hardys
Valkenburg

Good ambience, with pleasant music and great stuff on the wall.

We had the pork tenderloin and the salmon-steak. Both tasted great and the plates where nicely decorated.
Saidly no warm vegetables and only a small dish with fries.
But it tasted GOOD!!!

A turkish restaurant is now situated in this former protestant church. It's in my opinion unique to get halal foods in a protestant church. Great turkish food!

Lignanos Ristorante-Pizzeria

Very good pizza and Italian food. Great tast of real tomatoes and fresh products!
Nice and cosy decorated restaurant.

I had a great pizza calzone and my friend got filetti di tilapia which also tasted GREAT!!!

The desert parfait caramel also tasted delicious!!!!

Steakhouse & Balkan Restaurant Valkenhof is a fantastic restaurant located in the heart of Valkenburg. Here you can taste delishious Spanish, Balcan and Italian dishes served in an friedly and nice atmosphere. The ambience is very nice with reconstruction of Mediterranean views and architectures. Enjoy your meal!!

To eat in Steakhouse & Balkan Restaurant Valkenhof was a great experience. Here you can taste delicious Balkan, Spanish and Italian dishes. The house specialities are tapas (hot and cold) with a great choice. I can suggest to taste the Mexican menù: tomato soup; grilled skewers of meat with spicy sauce, chips and salad; dessert of the day and coffee.
I can suggest to try also the Sea Menù: grilled salmon with pasta with lobster sauce, French potatoes and salad; dessert of the day and coffee.
