  • I have a timetable for the Braga - Guimarães local buses which I obtained on a visit last year. I have also never found it on a website.

    These buses are operated by a consortium of three companies and I have put the timetable on a webpage at this location:

    This timetable was correct in November 2007. I do not know if it has changed. I suggest you check at the Braga bus station before travel.

    You can use the same ticket on any bus of any of the three companies.

    Once in Braga, you don't need any other mean of transportation but your feet. All sights are very close but the Santuário do Bom Jesus do Monte.

    Braga is just a bit over an hour away from Porto, therfore, it's very recommendable a day trip.

    - Address of the railway station in Braga: Largo da Estação.

    - From Porto: São Bento railway station (Praça Almeida Garret; metro: São Bento, line D/yellow) or Campanhã (metro: lines A, B, C and E), and take Braga urban (urbanos) linha/line.
