Taking a taxi in Mamaia is a smoth way to getting around. I took the taxi only once, and that was to the nearby town Constanta. It costed about 250.000 LEI, and I found out later that I payed to much. A more normal price should have been around 140.000 LEI.

A more cheap way instead of the taxi, to getting around in Mamaia, or to visit the town Constanta is to take the bus. One way ticket costed around 15.000 LEI.

The buses are really modern and an easy way to travel in Mamaia. There goes plenty of them every hour to and from Constanta. Theme: Bus |
I didn't try it, but if you like you can go around in Mamaia with horse and carriage. Theme: Other |
Mamaia is a summer resort by the Black Sea, and the main thing people go here for is the beach! So hit the beach and have fun. Directions: The Beach. |
