Popular Restaurants | Other Restaurants Tips | All Tips (55) tucked away behind the prom at the lighthouse end of the beach at torrox costa. very intimate and friendly. ran by an englishman and his swedish partner.all of the food is home cooked and fresh. the owners are very friendly and interacted with the clients, we must of spent an hour chatting about diferent things. as i have said all of the food is fresh and the menu extensive, inc specials of the day etc, a must visit if you are in torrox.

Thelma's Kitchen is just out of Nerja at the El Zoco complex. This is only a small restaurant but the food is great. Th efood is cooked fresh so you may have to wait a little longer than in the ordinary Indian restaurant.
There are only a few tables inside but there is an extra area for eating outside under a canopy in the summer.
There is a reasonably sized area for parking but it does get filled up quickly.
Goan Chicken is the best I have ever tasted.

Undoubtedly the best Italian food in Nerja. The menu is very large covering most of Italy's diverse food but the food is also very good. Good wine list too. The staff are all Italian.
The restaurant is always crowded after 8:00 pm so either come early or be prepared to wait. Seats are quite close together. Outside seating as well as inside.
The standards of the staff I think have slipped a bit over the last year but the food still remains the same.

Only had lunch here of omelettes which was good so can't really comment on food but the view from the terrace is great. It's big and it overlooks the sea and other than large umbrellas over the tables, the sunshine has an unrestricted path to you.
There's a proper restaurant inside but on the terrace there's a little bar you can sit round as well. Drink prices are average.

The churros in La 4 Esquinos Café are the best in Nerja. The hot chocolate is divine, extremely thick and chocolately. The coffee is pretty good too.
This café is well used by Spanish locals and Spanish tourists providing a noisy but great atmosphere.
It's also very cheap. The churros are served up to 12.00 noon.

Very good food specialising in seafood. The restaurant overlooks the sea and there is an outside terrace. At night you can watch the lights of the fishing boats and listen to the crashing of the waves.
Staff are all Spanish but the menu is in English and German as well as Spanish. You can have just a drink or coffee here and the view during the day is lovely.

We made full use of our hotel balcony at the Balcon de Europa Hotel and brought our meal from Palacio del Pollo Asado back to our room. This was probably our best view during a meal on our trip and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. A popular restaurant overlooking the beach at Playa Torrecilla. There are outside seats on the promenade and seating inside but still with good view of beach. The food is better than you would expect from its location close to the beach and more Spanish than international. Lunch for two including sangria was generally less than 30 Euros, reasonably priced as this was for fish dishes.
The waiters are very quick in fact one usually runs from kitchen to table. Also good spot to have coffee or a drink and ogle people on the beach. One of the days we were there, there was a mobile massage centre on the beach with staff from nearby hotel's health centre.
