 | Barcelona Dancing Reviews | 1 - 10 of 30 | | The place is very New York style: modern, stylish and with character. What I liked most was the space. The local counts with three dance floors: the main is dance and techno. In the second floor you will find a much more packed room with hip-hop and a very cool lounge which plays a variety of "oldies" as I will call it. The last was my favourite, as the lighting is dimm down but not out, and there is many tables available to chill out whilst listening to tunes.
Like many places in BCN do not show up before 0200 as you will fin NO one. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: linconl 15Directions: Barrio La Sarria

Normally I don’t write about places I haven’t experienced in the flesh. On top of that, after a day of walking my feet off in some foreign country I rarely go dancing at night. But if I ever go back to Barcelona, I will definitely try Cibeles. Attracted by the bright neon sign directly across the street from our hotel on Corcega Street, we went over to peek inside. It was a dance club for “oldies” (age-wise, I guess I fit the bill) that was packed with locals who looked like they were having a ball. There was a live orchestra, and couples were on the dance floor, kicking up a storm. So if you like to fox trot, tango and waltz, or believe it's never too late to learn, Cibeles may be just the thing. To quote the sage words of my friend’s T-shirt: Over what hill? Where? When? I don’t remember any hill! The bouncer at the door was very friendly. Free admission for the ladies, he said. It was tempting, but we were just too exhausted. Now in Barcelona have a big succes the salsa. Ten years ago was only (at least that i Know) one or two "salsotecas", but i don't know why, in the last times you can chose beetwen at least 10 locals when only you will hier salsa. It's truth that there's a lot of cubans, in Barcelona, cause Catalonia and Cuba are hystorically relate for several reasons. But the sytle that have a great school here, is the dance-line, like in Los Angeles. Well, me and my girl-friend like very much to dance salsa. If you wont to know the salsa of Barcelona, just say it us. Si voleu que us hi assessorem, només ens heu d'escriure. Leave a Comment

There is a huge strip of clubs ... back to back along side the beach there are 10 clubs with a mixture of different types of music .. mostly American RandB or HipHop ... some had salsa and spanish music ... all for some reason had strips dancing to the music on the bar counters but very fun strip ... you can take a metro easy enough there and walk down the street to the clubs ... dance the night away and get back on at 5 am when they open again if your on vacation why not get your groove on . ... really a must DO

(if you look closely, you might be able to make it out in the distance! The view is from Parc Guell across the city.) A small but stylish bar playing everything from chilled, funky house and US Garage to acid Jazz. Very narrow but well planned on three levels. Tables and a bar on the ground floor with trippy oil lamp projections on the walls make a pleasant area to chat and relax. The DJ box is up a flight of stairs in front of a small area with comfy red sofas to lounge in. The top section houses a small dance area and second bar. The atmosphere is relaxed and a trendy but unpretentious crowd are found here.

Small disco in the hearth of BCN, usually quite friendly people there, mainly locals. Rock from all eras, indie, pop, spanish pop/rock, music to party: from AC/DC to Village People, U2, Chuck Berry, Ramones, Police, The Cult, Blur, Oasis, Dire Straits, Cure, Manu Chao... Un poco de todo. Reasonable prices.
Usually no special requirements Leave a Comment

I had a good time coming here at Antilla latin club. It has a nice caribean atmosphere and every now and then they have live bands and salsa workshops. BTW It's also a lot of fun for the not-salsa-dancers. Pictures and more info about events you can find on their website.

For all of you that love to reach for the Lasers, there are a few great clubs for dancing, The first is 'Moog' (I think thats how you spell it) They play a range of dance music including, Techno, Electro, Hard House, Trance, Breaks and House music. Moog is very popular with the tourist, it is always guaranteed to be packed on the weekend, it's not a huge venue, but has a large dance floor and a kick ass sound system. If you really want to party like the Spanish than 'La Terreza' is the club for you. It is known as one of the best places in town, If you speak English there is a good chance you won't get in, so practice your Catalan. This place is crazy, once inside anything is possible. It has a range of music depending on what night your there, but it is always crowded with locals dancing the night away. La Terraza is a 15 minute taxi ride outside the town centre, check the internet for address details. Last time I was there, dress codes were non existant, especially in the summer months where most women dance in little more than underwear, Leave a Comment Theme: Nightclub

Dancefloor - Lower Floor Situated on the ground floor of the building, is a two level area where you can find the dance floor, three bars, a light and sound booth and other services such as coat check rooms and bathrooms. Hot Club - First Floor A space with its own personality located on the first floor of the discoteque. Its modern decoration is based on ribboned wood that creates the effect of a “sounding box”. The simple decoration combines silver and white colors. Its a small club inside the club, with two bars, an independent sound and light booth, as well as a spectacular audiovisual and lighting system. The hot club is an international and cosmopolitan ambiance where you can find the best sounds of black music, and the best offers of funky and hip hop in the city. A mixture of race, color, and sound = HOT CLUB. Red Room - First Floor A new created area completely decorated in long red cloths that cover the floors and leather sofas. A large red dome of non flamable nylon presides over the room, where an independent sound system of electro-80’s music flows through the dance floor transforming it into an infernal paradise. It is the favorite room for the more underground public, where flirting is normal and the waitresses still leave you thirsty no matter how many drinks you have Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: Lincoln, 15 08006 BarcelonaPhone: 93 238 07 22Directions: Tuesday to Saturday starting at midnight
