 | Barcelona Night Clubs Reviews | 1 - 10 of 62 | | * * * * * * Last news: we went around half past midnight on a Saturday night and found it shut. Perhaps it is seasonal, or perhaps it has gone. I'll try to update this tip... but in the meanwhile, better you know this place may be not there anymore (that would be a shame...) * * * * * * * This is the place I like to go with first-time Barcelona visitors... You should enter the place trough a corridor of distorting mirrors, at this point you can imagine you will not find a common place at the end.... A journey back to the wonderful world of the infancy.... or the forgotten set of a horror film, it depends on your mood or your own memories. The place will not left you indifferent. Here, you can relax and have a drink sitting in a swing, opposite to a bar of the XIXth century under the shade of an incredible tent. Automats, fortune-tellers, carousel pieces, etc. A world of fantasy and imagination. The owner of this bizarre place brought the scraps of a disused fun fair (the old "Tibidabo") and created here a magical atmosphere. Too quiet during weekdays, but crowded on weekends, after midnight. Now it's a non-smoking bar, in case this means to you. For me it's another positive point! :) Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: Provenca 171, 08036 BarcelonaPhone: +34 939 781 096Directions: Eixample Esquerra (left), next metro stop: Hospital Clinic. ATTENTION: this place has re-opened, but not as it was :-( I did not delete this tip as you can find other info that's not up to date It once was one of my favorites to have some fun with friends. Old-style cabaret club, later in the night a fun dancing place. Now, after closing and renovating it, I've to say it has lost all its old charm. I'm not sure if there is the drag-queens show, starting around 10 PM (the resident queen is Carmen de Mairena). It used to be quite fun (assuming you can understand Spanish) and sooooooo kistch and decadent. Hope it's still this way, but I doubt I'll go to check it Later, around midnight, you can enter the place for 3 euros, a basic drink included (i.e. a regular beer, for special drinks you'll have to pay the difference). There is always crowded, you may have to queue to enter. Once inside, fun music from the 80's and a few latest hits Leave a Comment Theme: DancingAddress: Montserrat 9, 08001 BarcelonaPhone: +34 933 012 978Directions: Cuitat Vella, El Raval (near Las Ramblas) Open Sunday until Thursday from 21.00h to 02.30h

Danzatoria also referred to as the Mansion, is a nice bar and club(free entrance) located on Mt.Tibidabo. The best time to go is during the warmer weather when you can wander on the very pretty outside terrace. This is a semi posh atmosphere, with mostly well dressed locals. Upstairs there is techno music and downstairs is hip hop, it has recently been redone so it is better than ever! If you don´t feel like dancing there are several areas to sit and enjoy a drink, (an expensive drink!). One tip leave before the bar closes because afterwards it will be hard to find a taxi.

Maybe from the outside you'd never imagine what a nice place is hiden behind the entrance. It's a very good place to have a drink and talk since the music is not too loud. The best of all is the decoration. You found sofas, tables and lamps like a kind of XIX th century french style. From 18-2.30h Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: Valencia, 286Phone: 932156879Directions: It's between Passeig de Gracia and Pau Claris street, very close to Casa Batlló

UPDATE : SORRY CLOSED DOWN IN 2006 Danzatoria is located up on the hill of Tibidabo. This former villa has been transformed into one of the best night clubs in Barcelona. Various floors with four different ambiences and musical styles that make it accessible for everybody that loves to dance. Great interior design and an impressive thousand-square-metre garden so you can chat and dance under the stars! Drinks could seem you a little bit pricey but entrance is free of charge! TIP: as the Club closed at 3AM, it could be tricky to get a taxi there, so leave before or prepare a Plan B.

Barcelona offers a great range of nightclubs, serving to all types and tastes. You'll surely enjoy one of these four... 1. Razzmatazz - big, made up of 3 rooms, each one with a different type of music. You'll find a great crowd, everyone's ready to party here. Live music is found here frequently, and if you're lucky you might catch a great band such as The Killers or Kasabian, both of who have performed here in the past. 2. Bikini - playing hip hop and funk to an eclectic clientele, BIkini is crowded but great fun. Drinks are around 11 euro each. 3. Pacha - the BCN site for this world famous club won't disappoint fans. You'll dance the night away in this club amidst cute and trendy locals and tourists. Music consists of house and techno. 4. Sutton - trendsetters in their early thirties will adore Sutton and its coolness, while younger visitors on a tight budget will probably prefer to go someplace else.
Razzmatazz and Bikini are quite laid back. Sneakers are allowed at both. On the other hand, Pacha and Sutton do call for a more polished look. Theme: Nightclub

This Club is located within the Poble Espanyol building. It has an incredible, huge patio outdoors, surrounded by lots of plants and trees, used as a dance floor. The ambience is excellent!: good house music, great entertainment and lots of fun. The regulars are attractive men (most of them gay), and beautiful women wearing tiny dresses. Stylish and in fashion people. The door policy is very strict and 50% of the people cannot get in the nights that is completely packed. This is the best club in Barcelona, especially in the summer. Great atmospehere and unforgettable sunrises from the terrace. It reproduces the style of the best clubs in Ibiza, with internationally known DJs and the regular Sergio Patricio. It is very disappointing for the locals when it closes in the winter. The tourists and foreigners that visit it once never forget it. From Midnight to 06h The prize of the entry is about 15 Euros Only during the summer ....
Drinks cost: 7 EUR for spirits, 5 EUR for soft drinks and 3 EUR for still water. Admission: 12 EUR (first drink included) Open only during the summer Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: Poble Espanyol Ayda - Metro Espanya

Jamboree is a small but very popular club which has different things going on several nights of the week. Sometimes it has live music in the bar area downstairs, then later you can go upstairs and dance to hip-hop. It's a fun and casual place, no strict dress code. It's also easy to find since it's located on the placa reial.
Not too strict. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: placa reialDirections: located in Placa Reial-metro stop liceu

Bikini is a popular nightspot known for its salsa room, the night I was there on Thursday there is a professional salsa dancer who every half an hour or so will come out and lead everyone in a salsa dance It was really fun! There was another room playing a mixture of techno and popular music. The crowd in general her is a bit older than other clubs.
they do follow dress code here, no sneakers Leave a Comment Theme: Nightclub
