  • Tip Rating:
  • We went to Ceuta by taking a boat from Spain through the Strait of Gibraltar. Since Ceuta is part of Spain, we did not get our passports stamped until we left Ceuta for other parts of Morocco. We took a tour bus from Ceuta to Tetouan and Tangier.

    Spain To Ceuta
Either grab a boat from Alfgiceras to Ceuta which will roughly cost around 60 euros return or 30 euros one way. There is a alternative route from gibraltar to Ceuta which costs a little more and only goes twice a week.
Once in ceuta either get a bus to the nearest morrocan town of Funideq or a taxi stright to Teoutan

    Crossing the Strait
The only one way for arriving Ceuta from Mainland Spain is crossing the Gibraltar Strait by sea. Although I believe that there are an heliport that joins Ceuta with Málaga.
There are three companies (Euroferrys, Buquebus and Trasmediterránea) that depart from Algeciras (Cádiz) since 6:00 until 21:45 each hour, more or less. And you can go from Ceuta to Algeciras since 7:30 until 23:00 each hour too.

Ceuta is in the north of Africa and doesn't have airport, however, there are some other ways to go there: By helicopter from Málaga (30 minutes), by boat from Algeciras, the south of the peninsula (1 hour) either with your own car or just walking, or by car from Morocco.
