    Sunrise sunset here in Barrow at mid-summer happen within few minutes. As the sunset and before the sky turns dark, there the sunrise again.

    Non-stop darkness for atleast 65 days is the only nitelife and when I was here, it was considered a 'dry village' so alcohol drinking was prohibited :-(

  • If you are looking for an active nightlife, you made a wrong turn and landed in Barrow. There is no nightlife here.

  • They do not have in clubs or bars, - your best nightlife spot is a friend who has a good 'bar' in his house.

  • The sun was still shining high at 11pm in April. It was really cool to watch the sun set and then a few hours later see the sun start to rise again. That is something really cool about the place. I don't think I could handle the dark they get during the winter months.
