 | Buenos Aires To/From Airport - A/Desde Aeropuerto Reviews | 1 - 10 of 23 | | As soon as you have picked up your luggage and emerge into the ground transportation area, you will see a large booth for the Manuel Tienda Leon shuttle-bus service into Buenos Aires, located 35-km (20-miles) north of the airport. My Visa credit card did the trick for our A$23 (US$7.50) each one-way cost for a drive into the city on an air-conditioned Mercedes-Benz bus. The highway into Buenos Aires is a very modern divided highway with nice scenery (and the associated government financial corruption is one of the reasons for Argentina's financial crisis that has resulted in this being such an amazing place to visit from abroad!). Once the bus has weaved it's way into the city, it stops at a small terminal near the Rio de la Plata waterfront, where you transfer to vans for delivery to your final destination. The service was fast and efficient. When leaving BA, we took a private taxi from our hotel to avoid the hassles of bus connections, and it cost us a total of A$50 (US$17), not much more than the bus trip and a lot faster. The photo shows our inbound bus at the downtown transfer station. Leave a Comment Theme: Bus

When arriving in Buenos Aires just like any international city you have people approaching you asking if you need a cab, Just ignore them and walk striaght to the Tienda Leon bus service....if you can't remeber that name just look for the bus with a huge Lion head painting on it, they charge about $8 US dollars for one way service into the city.......the airport is some 30 miles away from the city center and a cab would be pricey at best. Once in the city.... the bus service offers a drop off at your hotel at no fee !!!! Leave a Comment Theme: Bus

The cheapest and safest way to get to and from the airport was using the Manuel Tienda Leon bus service. When you have gone through customs at the airport you will come to a round hall with a lot of taxi, bus and accommodation booths. Look for the one with the big Lion on it and book a bus to Plaza San Martin for $25 Argentinian pesos. For $2 pesos more you can get a transfer ticket that will take you to your hotel from the Plaza. This is the bus service to and from the airport. Its in the neighborhood of 30 pesos per person one way. They run the main bus into town to their terminal and then use minibus shuttles to get the passengers to their final destinations. So it is an airport to door service, just with a pitstop at the main terminal in town. Due to the pricing I would say if you are traveling with anyone else, this is more expensive than just getting a taxi. Leave a Comment Theme: Bus

From the airport or getting to the Airport... And I refer to EZE (international airport...) you want to take a Remis (private hire car) as well, but you can do better than just hailing one down. Le Coq seems to do a GREAT job of getting you to the airport in lots of time and is very resonable rate. I paid 22 pesos one way. I paid road tolls in addition. Give them a buzz. There is a bus service from the airport terminal to the city center: Manuel Tienda León operates a bus service from the airport terminal to the city center about every 1/2 hour from 5.00 am to 10.00 pm. Purchase a ticket from the booth just ouside the custom area. Fare is about $16. The buses go to the downtown.

If it's your first time in Argentina, you might be a little dazed like I was after flying all night in an uncomfortable plane! Also I was by myself. So if you just want a sure, safe thing when you arrive at the airport, walk right over to the Manuel Tienda Leon car stand. It was $58 pesos into town ($19 U.S.) which is about a 30-minute ride. It's a flat rate no reservations required. The driver was very courteous and friendly, air conditioned car and he made sure I got into my hotel before pulling away. The bus of Manuel Tienda Leon from and to Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires is a cheap alternative (19 argentinian pesos) 24 hours a day. It leaves you (and takes you) in the center of the city (Santa Fe 790) Theme: BusPhone: 0810-888-5366

The cheapest way to come from the EZE airport to the centre of Buenos Aires is to take the MANUEL TIENDA LEON buses. To depart from the centre of Buenos Aires for the EZE airport, go to the MANUEL TIENDA LEON office at Avenida Santa Fe 790, near the Plaza San Martin. Leaves every half-hour in either direction. If you buy directly from the office, it should be slightly cheaper (12 Arg Pesos), compared to buying the ticket from, say, your hostel. Leave a Comment Theme: Bus
