The 15 -storey The Katerina Hotel is a four star hotel located in the centre of the commercial district of Batu Pahat. The hotel has 185 rooms including 10 executive suites. It is the best hotel in the town.

The 2-storey high lobby is spacious and inviting with beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, ceiling heights mirrors and paintings. It also boast of Bali teak furniture for guests in the waiting area. The sound of water can be also be sensed within the lobby. This is the only four-star hotel in Batu Pahat. Other than it's lovely facade, the hotel is also infamously known for its part where an illegal video recording of a guest was created. So much for it being a safe hotel.
