    Mona Liza is one of oldest restaurants in Abbottabad. It is more famous for its tuti fruti icecream. But you can come here for luch, dinner or dinner because they serve all of them.

    Food is good and prices are reasonable. Its nice stop for transit if you are traveling to northern areas of Pakistan.

    Try their tuti fruity or chicken karahi

    Red Onion, the famous restaurants chain in Pakistan has presence in Abbottabad as well. Their food is really good and interior impressive. Every dish is served with onion rings covered by red sauce.

    One weekends they have roof top barbecue along with live music. But their service is a bit slow. Still you can call it one of best restaurants in Abbottabad.

    Incase you are traveling to Northern areas then its not a bad idea to stop here for lunch.

    Try their Red Onion Special burger and Bar-b-Que chicken pizza. All dishes are equally good.

    I had Chicken Krahi, a typical punjabi dish, which was superb. Yet fried rice and bar-b-que ordered were fantastic.

  • There is nothing special about the surroundings of this small kiosk cum resturant except for that it is situated in front of the Ayub Medical Complex. Just ask for the Chicken or Beef Karahi and within fifteen minutes ( give a bit more time for the chicken) you will have no regrets trying out this mouth watering delicacy. If the surroundings do not bother you , just grab a chair in front of his kiosk and order away.
