...every street has it's own story...
It's really nice to walk through those narrow streets....after that you'll really like some nice supper in one of the many local restaurants

Day trip to the Tremiti Islands
The tremiti Islands are about 135Km from the foggia area and it consists of San Domino, San Nicola, Caprara. If you are in the viesta area, definitely it is worth the trip.

You can buy the ticket at the Marina and they have boat tickets that will take you out to the island around 9 a.m. and take you back to Viesta around 5:30 p.m.

The three island is amazing beautiful and full of natural wonder. The water condition is pristine. We were swimming with snoggle and can see all the corals and fishes from afar. There is also diving school on the island that you can rent the diving equipment.

The island San Domino has been inhabited since the 2nd millennium B.C. and was subsequently visited by the Greeks and Romans. In the year 1000 it was chosen as a hermitage by the Benedictine monks who later left the island and settled in San Nicola. It is also the island where most of the hotels are.

The island San Nicola has the splendid and magnificent Abbey of Santa Maria which was built around 11th century. It take more than half day to walk through the whole Abbey and the castle. You can also rent a boat to tour around the islands. Some people will then park their boat to some pretty private area for sunbathing.

It was quite magical to swim at the beach in the island san domino overlooking the castle and the Abbey at the other island.
