Miscellaneous Tips (Rochefort, Belgium)- Hotel Reviews

This is a little 3-star hotel with 6 rooms. It's a bit confusing that the reception is in the restaurant/brasserie which is some meters up the street, on the other side! In the hotel building, you'll find the guest rooms (upstairs) and the dining room (ground floor). If you enter the building, you are directly in the dining room, so it can be a bit disturbing if you eat there and people continue walking in and out... but with only 6 rooms there are not too many guest! The first morning, we met nobody at breakfast - even no service personal. They randomly come and fill up bread etc.
Breakfast buffet was good, there was bread, rolls, croissants, cheese, cold meat, yoghurt. The orange juice was great, and there was a machine to get coffee. I only missed some eggs.
The rooms were clean and big enough, with a TV, a desk, two chairs and a wardrobe. Only the beds could have been more stable. Bathroom was good, too, with an underfloor heating and a shower.
Although the homepage is also in English and German, nobody did speak German, but at least they spoke a bit English. The hotel is situated at the main street which is quite busy. Could be loud at night, although I had the impression that there's less traffic in the evenings. Our room was at the other side which was rather silent.
