    This is a small, authentically decorated nargile (waterpipe/hookah) cafe. On Thursdays, there is live folk music night (Turku gecesi), and on Fridays, there is rock/alternative live music. It's the best location to go with a small group of friends to chat and relax.

    Nostalji is a popular bar, which has been in existence for a long time now. The place used to be a movie theater back in the day.

    Local bands play on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Fridays are usually reserved for rock/alternative. Pop/latin music lovers should wait for Saturdays.
    The crowd is of mixed age.

    The music is pretty good - actually one of the best live performances you can enjoy regularly in Cyprus.

    There is a cover charge (about 5 Euros) on Fridays and Saturdays. The first drink (soda, beer or local spirits) is included with the cover.

    Casual.

  • Octana is a relaxed place to spend an evening, there are three part to it, the main house, the garden and the bar downstairs. The decor is very arabic and you can also order a shisha or hubly bubbly.An extensive menu of drinks, food and many games to choose from. If you are more in a mood for loud music then head downstairs.

    I can't tell much about Nicosia's nightlife, but it seemed that there are some nice pubs and bars to hang out at. This little terrace called 'Berlin' stood against the wall that divides the city. Quite appropriate!

    This bar is set in a house surrounded by a beautiful garden. The perfect place to be when the temperature is soaring at night. I would recommend to arrive early in order to have a table and enjoy it before the crowd descend from about ten thirty onwards. In the winter it makes it a nice cosy place everybody being inside and the music is quite good. The only thing to keep in mind is this place being a bit more expensive.

  • The Zoo, is apparently the best club. Or so everyone keeps telling me.
    The music is nice and so is the atmosphere. The people are friendly.

    Dress smart!! That's what Cyprus likes, dress codes.

  • 'PLATOS'. A bar more or less like BABYLON but the music is mainly blues and jazz.
    Another place where you can find many kinds of beers and you can also eat something.

    No dress code.

  • Itīs not exactly a nightlife spot, is a typical bar where you can drink and also eat something. Itīs called BABYLON and it plays nice rock music.
    Many kinds of beers that you cannot find elsewhwere in Nicosia, except the other 2 places that Iīm describe later.

    Anything you want. My opinion is better to go dressed casual, I mean itīs a rock bar.

  • No favorite here. There's so many you get lost. You'll find Discos and pubs EVERYWHERE
    The only problem with nightlife is that everything closes at 3 or 3:30 am. Just when you're starting to have fun!!!!

    No dress code needed. But look smart and you'll feel more confident.

  • Nights always begin with dinner. 9.00pm not sooner or you will be helping the staff open the shop shutter or clean the floors. Cypriot cuisine is super in taste but too much in quantity. Wash it down with local white wines. Then walk over to Makarios avenue where you will find many cafes. At around 11.30-12.00 the trendy clubs open so you can dance to international tunes. Nicosia is NOT a tourist resort so dont expect fake tavernas and fake zorba dancing for the tourists.

    casual but smart - no shorts or bermudas - as i said, nicosia is not a tourist resort,.. real people live there.
