    This is a local dive where everyone comes for lunch. Made famous by a national review magazine, which stated this place is among the top ten locations to eat a shrimp dish.

    You must get the Shrimp Burger, made from locally caught low-country shrimp. Each time I visit I stop by..... I once extended my stay by a day because they were closed.....

    Whitehall is in an old manner and as suggested, the Shrimp Shack is in a shack

  • Just past the "Shrimp Shack" (above) is this local seafood restaurant. It's the last place on the left before crossing the little bridge to Hunting Island.

    The last memorable meal I had here was steamed Mussels.....
